Blacksmithing Sessions FAQ's

How often do the sessions run? A:The sessions run all year round on a mixture of weekends and weekdays.

What time do the sessions start? A: 2hr taster sessions - 10AM, Half Day - 2PM, Full Day 10AM.

I have a voucher, How do I book on? A: Please email piers@environmental-art.co.uk to get available dates and to confirm your booking.

Can I turn up and pay on the day? A: No, To join a session please purchase a voucher online or in person in our shop - 14, The shambles, Malton. Once you have your voucher you can book onto any of our available sessions.

What can I make? A: During each session we have a practice exercise to get you used to the material, the tools and the basic techniques, if you pass that our smith Piers will then help you create something personal to you.

What's included? A: all materials are included with your voucher.

What do I need to bring? A: just yourself, clothes you don't mind getting dirty (overalls are great) and stout shoes or boots (preferably leather).

Where do the sessions take place: A: The sessions take place at our workshop - Unit 2 Pasture lane units, Showfield industrial estate, Malton, YO176BT. we always recommend finding us with the What 3 Words app - Mural.Develops.Loves - it'l take you right to our front door.

Can I change my booking? A: Yes, but it must be at least 24 hours prior to your session.
