BESPOKE JOINERY PROJECTS
In 2014 we were commission to design a 'bird hide' for the nature reserve at Heslington East Campus in York. Our brief was to utilise the vast amount of discarded timber in the estate yard as materials to create the hide.
The complete fitting out of a “Dutch Barge” style house boat, from the first fix to final fix proved to be a highly successful and challenging project, producing excellent results. The steel hull was prepared ready for the 1st fix constructing the entire layout of the interior, prepared and fixed veneered ply panelling, designed and manufactured the fixtures and fittings.
This involved the making of the entire bedrooms and bathrooms, including fitting the doors, locks and hinges amongst other fixings.
